Mission: S2E1: The Skunil Incident
Location: Deck 5- Classroom
Timeline: Day 1 at 0930

ON:

Sonia Jace had not been on the Crazy Horse long at all. She was one of the people who had come aboard when She was docked at the starbase. She was not Starfleet. But a civilian contractor. She was hired by Starfleet to be the teacher on the USS Crazy Horse. It was hectic for her upon her arrival. She reported in with her Department Head, (Lieutenant JG Remigius ("Remy") Fawkes Ph.D.) and was assigned quarters. Now, it was time for her to shine. For it was her first day on the job.

Sonia had been informed that all the children on board were informed of her classes and were to be there. Unfortunately, there was only 5 children on the ship. This suited Sonia just fine. She always worked the best in smaller rooms anyways. It was almost the magic hour. Time for young minds to awaken like flowers waiting to greet the sun and quench their thirst for knowledge with the morning dew of education. Sonia liked to refer to this as 'The Magic Time.' It was what she got into education for.

Sonia was at her desk. She had a full write up on the education levels of each student. But, she knew that she would need to test them all first thing. Just to make sure it was accurate. Not only was this ethical, but it was standard procedure when taking over a new classroom. She had all the tests for each student prepped and ready to go. Nothing to do but stand at the door and wait.

The first to show up were the Reece twins, Collin and Conner. They were human boys and both had red hair. They were both 10. The previous teacher said that they could be a handful. They looked sweet and innocent. That was enough to draw suspicion on their behavior right there.

"Come on in boys. Have a seat at the desks. Class will begin shortly."

Next to arrive was Va'shek. She was a Vulcan 6 year old girl. Highly intelligent. In her file it said she was highly disciplined. Of course, that is by human standards. Sonia gave the Vulcan salute as Va'shek walked in. It was returned, and Va'shek went to sit down at a desk. Then, after Va'shek, in walked Bojay Karibdis. Bojay was a young Trill male. 10 years old. And was born blind. But, Bojay does wear his visor. And gets along just fine.

"Welcome Bojay, please sit down. We are waiting on one more student before we can begin." Said Sonia.

Mizi was only seven and already her world was turned upside down. Daddy had informed her of the new teacher who was to replace the one she had just gotten used to, the one she had really gotten to like, Mrs. de Vega. Why did the mean old Captain do this to her? He must hate her for creating the Red Raven, that must be it! What else could it be? At least she had her friends, she had Zain, her first real boyfriend! Then there was Hallanna, Dremon, Belkor, and Sahn. She loved them all, they were her posse!

Walking down the corridor on deck five, Mizi reached the room where this other teacher was doubtless laying in wait for her, ready to bury her with homework, slap her with tests, this horrible person, this Sonia Jace. Mizi couldn't stand it anymore, she felt like running away, she was already terrified of what she might find. So Mizi peaked past the edge of the open door, her blond braids falling past her small shoulders. At least Mizi had her friends, her posse was there, she thought.

"Good morning Mizi. Please take your seat." Said Sonia

It took her a moment to notice the new children, but where was Zain? Where was her posse? Her eyes widened in disbelief, they were gone! Was she all alone? Mizi turned and ran like the wind, feeling as if in a nightmare. Finding a computer terminal, she called out to it. "Computer! Where on the ship is Zain Freidwin?

Tears ran down her cheeks as her whole world was about to crumble. "Computer! Where is Sahn Sackland, Belkor Tremlor, Dremon Voorberg, and Hallanna Williams?"

=/\= Sahn Sackland, Belkor Tremlor, Dremon Voorberg, and Hallanna Williams left the ship with their families between 7:05 and 8:31 this morning. =/\=

Mizi fell to her knees, sobbing and feeling alone and abandoned. "Oh god, why didn't they tell me? All my friends are gone. *sob* It's just me and my daddy, now." *sob*
