Mission: S1E2: The Plomeek Soup Conundrum
Location: USS Crazy Horse, ?
Timeline: Day 5 at 0900

The effect of warp stars streaking by a Federation starship had always been comforting to the Bajoran Chief of Security, but the visual symphony gave her little comfort now. Scowling, she looked up at the human intelligence chief. "I just don't get it. We've run forty-seven separate checks, and no trace of anyone who could have had the access necessary to infect our systems..." The terminal chimed, then went dark, then started up again. "Blasted thing! Keeps going out on me... Any luck on your end?"

"What if it wasn't a person inside 'the ship'." interjected Marcus standing nearby tapping a PADD. "What if it is someway that it..what is the term..'piggybacks' on an unsuspecting user from outside the ship?" Marcus frowned slightly as he looked at his PADD, not happy with the lack of responses.

"Hmmm... I can check the subspace logs... The last big transmission was from Starfleet, signifying our change in command, but that was encrypted to the Celestial Temple and back... Any idea if we could have gotten any kind of signal that might not have registered in the comm logs or sensors?"
