Mission: S2E1: The Skunil Incident
Location: Deck 11/Deck 5
Timeline: Day 21 at 1330

ON:

"Hey Cash, got a minute?" Asked Pig Boy running up to the Chief Engineer's Office in Main Engineering.

Xander had his nose buried in a padd. with a few others in tow. "For you Pig Boy, I can spare 2. Whats on your mind.....Or lack there of?" He said jokingly.

"I was wondering, well, I'm the Sr most enlisted member of your engineering staff. And shouldn't I have gotten a lead hand position?" He asked.

Cash sighed. "I'm so glad you asked me about this." He said. "Come. walk with me."

Xander grabbed his padds and the 2 men walked out of the office. Then out of engineering all together. Then, Cash spoke. "It's like this, It's true. You are the Sr most enlisted person I have. I value you so much Pig Boy, I really do. And you do deserve a position of leadership in my engineering staff."

"You are aware that everything said before the word but is bullshit, right Cash" Pig Boy said.

"There is no but there Pig Boy. Everything I said was on the level, and true. "

The 2 men came to the turbo lift, and Xander pressed to button to hail the car.

"So, what is the problem then?" Asked Pig Boy.

"No problem. No problem at all." Said Cash. "No problem. just slight concerns." He said as the turbo lift doors opened. and both men got in the car.

"Deck 5" Xander said as the turbo lift started.

"Concerns?" Asked Pig Boy with slight annoyance.

"Yes, concerns. Slight ones." Said Cash.

"And what are those concerns concerning?" Asked Pig Boy.

The turbo lift opened. The 2 men got out of the car and started to walk out and slowly down the corridor

"Pig Boy, I know you. We've served together a long time. I know what your about. But, the Captain has some concerns with you assuming a role of leadership at this time. So, I told him that you would do what it takes to earn his trust in that area." Xander said. "See, I'm on your side big guy. I got you."

Pig Boy looked at Cash. He kinda felt like he was being set up. But was not sure how. The 2 men walked slower. "What are you saying?" Asked Pig Boy.

"I'm saying that I'm trying to help you get the trust of the Captain in attaining a role of authority. I mean, A guy like you COULD become a COB in theory. IF you addressed those......concerns." Xander said.

"What are you trying to say Cash?" Pig Boy said now sounding annoyed.

"I'm saying, we are here." Xander pointed to the sign on the door. Chief Councillors's Office it read.

Pig Boy had the look of total surprise on his face. Now he was sure it was a set up. "Cash!!!!!!" He growled.

"And he is expecting you. Captain wants you to see the Councillor until further notice. And, I kind of agree. You could be great Pig Boy. But you need to deal with your anger issues." Said Cash.

Pig Boy stared at Cash for a few seconds. In his eyes you can see the choice of ripping Cash apart or not being tossed around like a cheap rag doll in a kindergarten class. Then, Pig Boy smiled. opened the door. and walked in.

Cash walked away knowing that IF he were anyone else and tried that, He would be on his way to sickbay by now.
