Awarded to Lieutenant JG Larissa Syndel - October 2020. Jamie, Syndel's writer, came up with the idea of the team following the Pergium trail getting captured and parlayed that into finding the colonists and murdering an unconscious guard. Rarely do I see writers who are willing to take big risks with their characters and so completely accept the consequences of their actions. He never asked that Syndel magically be pardoned for her actions. Instead, he created a second character who can assume the Chief of Operations role and has been a willing participant in the court martial planning. Well done! |
