Operating Conditions

Cruise Mode

The normal operating condition of the spacecraft.

Yellow Alert Mode

Condition of increased readiness in which key systems are brought to greater operating capacity in anticipation of a potential crisis. See http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Yellow_alert

Red Alert Mode

The highest alert signal status on Starfleet vessels or starbases, Red Alert is one stage above a Yellow Alert. Invoked during actual or immediately imminent emergency conditions. Also invoked during battle situations. See http://memory-alpha.wikia.com/wiki/Red_alert

External Support Mode

State of reduced activity when the ship is docked at a Starbase or other support facility.

Reduced Power Mode

Protocols that can be activated when power availability or power usage is reduced to less than 26% of normal Cruise Mode load.
