| General Overview | Siobhan is very intelligent, seemingly sophisticated, refined, and even aloof on the first glance. Upon knowing her better, she is a friendly, flirty, open-minded and direct extravert, with dry sense of humor. Most of the time, she is professional and composed, but she can be passionate and she enjoys creative chaos. Siobhan is uncanny perceptive, which in combination with her intelligence and deep knowledge of the psychology means that she is hard to lied to, it also helps her in the daily work, as a counselor, makes her a good negotiator, and sometimes she uses that to her advantage manipulating people. At times, Siobhan can be free-spirited and silly. Sometimes she even has over the top seductive tone in her behavior. She is also vane, she knows she is pretty and she is confident with that. She is almost unnaturally agile and likes to work on her body, spends a lot of time at the gym to stay fit, with special interest in acrobatics, gymnastics and martial arts. | Personal History | Siobhan was born on Risa, at the private estate her parents owned. First few years she spent there in luxuries and wealth. Then she moved to live with her parents near Delta IV, on a Federation station being the diplomatic hub for Deltans and the rest of the galaxy. Siobhan never went to school, and she had only private tutors, being pushed to meet unachievable standards by parents while she rarely was spending time with them. As a very intelligent child, she began the university education at age of 15. Living in the world of rich and at the junction of galactic diplomacy and trade, Siobhan’s parents expected her to become an important figure in the Federation service. However, Siobhan interests were less in diplomacy and business and more in psychology and cultures. After long quarrels, parents allowed her to study psychology at University of Alpha Centauri. First time on her own, Siobhan’s free spirit and egoism awakened. Time at the university was full of pleasures and giving in to the vanity, partying and crazy time of trying everything. At the same time, Siobhan was recognized in the field of psychology and in particularly sexology and cultures, studying various mating rituals and publishing lots of works about it. At 20, she completed the university with a degree in psychology, as one of the youngest beings to do so. However, her parents were not happy as Siobhan during university also became wild, and known for scandalous behavior that they did not like to see from her as a future diplomat. They decided to marry her against her will with a diplomat and direct her life path toward what they wanted. Rebellious Siobhan, decided to go against her parents and she married H'darkon, a Klingon. This infuriated her parents and they disowned her. Siobhan spent a year with H'darkon, learning new culture on Qo'noS. For egoistic Siobhan however it was a mean to further studies of psychology and culture, and occasion to experimenting. Patient at first, H'darkon wanting a family finally pressed on Siobhan. Being dependent on him and without family riches, Siobhan did the only thing she felt she could and she run away joining the Starfleet Academy. At 21, already a graduate of the university, Siobhan thought she would have it easy. The Starfleet Academy challenged her weaknesses and was a life changing experience for the hedonistic and vane woman. Not being a parson who was backing out of the challenge, with her exploration and experimentalist nature, Siobhan endured finding the academy compelling. She learned to give to get, to cooperate and among others, she realized that her interest in psychology could be put to a good use if she becomes a counselor. Not good at technical subject, Siobhan compensated with soft skills and other interests, majoring in psychology and physical education. Immediately after the academy, Siobhan remained at the university completing her doctoral degree. The bug of exploration, seeking new, and adventures, was strong though and as soon as she completed her doctoral work, she requested assignment aboard a Starfleet spaceship. |
